State police are seeking the whereabouts of a Steelton, Pa., man wanted for the crime of escape. Trooper Nicholas Bloschichak reported that law enforcement is looking for Anthony James Smith, 38, as a result of the subject failing to report to the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex as per court order.
Smith was previously directed by the Adams County Court of Common Pleas to report to the prison after the subject did not pay $600 regarding a case before the court. Smith was given until Sunday to pay. If he did not pay, he was ordered to report to the prison. Trooper Bloschichak stated the subject did not do either.As a result, the court charged Smith with the crime of escape, a second degree misdemeanor.Smith is described as a white male, 5’6” in height, and 200 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.
The subject’s last known address was 366 South Seventh St., Steelton.
