State police are continuing to investigate the theft of copper from the property of Met-Ed in Mount Joy Township Thursday May 27, 2010. State Police Trooper Jason A. Weaver reported that one or more unidentified subjects removed approximately 38 25-foot copper wires from a Met-Ed substation located along Miller Road sometime between 12:01 and 8:30 a.m. Adams County Crime Stoppers has offered a cash reward for information leading to the solution of the crime.
