The victim received 3 separate credit card bills for credit cards that she did not open and did not authorize.  The actor(s) who fraudulently applied for and received the credit cards did so at Harrisburg area Department Stores.  The actor(s) used the victim’s information to obtain the credit cards.  The actor(s) successfully opened credit cards at: Victoria’s Secret (Capital City Mall, Camphill, PA)ExpressBest Buy (Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA) 

The actor(s) made over $2000 in fraudulent purchases.  The actor(s) also attempted to open credit cards at Children’s Place, Littman Barclay Jewelers, and Dell but were denied those credit cards.  Investigation Continues.

EASTERN ADAMS REGIONAL PD CAR ACCIDENT

The State Police at Gettysburg continue to investigate this crash.  Information obtained since the crash indicates that oper #1 did have emergency lights on and was in some stage of pursuit of a small possibly two door dark colored car.  The small car was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for a steady red signal while EB on US 30 at the intersection of US 30.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION ON THIS CRASH, AND/OR SUSPECT VEHICLE/OPERATOR IS ASKED TO CALL OR TEXT A TIP TO ADAMS COUNTY CRIME STOPPERS.

CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP ATM BREAK-IN

Police are continuing to investigate an ATM break-in that occurred in Cumberland Township, and a reward has been offered.


Cumberland Township Police reported that one or more unidentified subjects gained entry to the Allstar Events Complex, 2638 Emmitsburg Road, sometime Saturday, January 23, 2010 or Sunday, January 24, 2010 and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from an ATM located in the facility’s lobby.


Police stated it appeared an electric power saw was employed in the attempt to cut through the front latches. An investigating officer also noted two exterior doors to the complex that appeared to have recent damage.

MOUNT JOY ATTEMPTED VEHICLE THEFT

State police are continuing to investigate the attempted theft of a vehicle Monday,  December 3, 2009 in Mount Joy Township and a reward has been offered.


Trooper Laythong Manivong stated that a white male suspect attempted to steal a vehicle belonging to Paul Plank, 64, while the vehicle was located at 2280 Baltimore Pike, Mount Joy Township, around 12:45 p.m.


When the suspect was confronted by the owner, the individual fled in a black Chevrolet pickup truck driven by another suspect.
The suspect was described as 6’2” in height, with brown hair and goatee, and wearing sunglasses.

MOUNT PLEASANT TOWNSHIP BURGLARY

Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred during various hours between September 12- 13, 2009 at a Mount Pleasant Township location, and a reward has been offered.


State Trooper Laythong Manivong reported that one or more unidentified subjects gained access to 981 Hickory Road and took numerous tools.
Value of the items taken remains undetermined.
