State police are seeking information on damaged inflicted on an electric company property in Straban Township, and a reward has been offered.

According to Trooper Laythong Manivong, one or more subjects gained entry into a secured Met-Ed substation in the area of Shealer Road, behind the Hampton Inn, during various hours between June 1 and Monday.

Trooper Manivong reported that an undetermined amount of electrical components were damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 334-8111.

Adams County Crime Stoppers (ACCS) has offered a cash reward for information leading to the solution of the crime.
